Keep those Auction Basket donations coming in

Yall's response to the auction basket has been tremendous. We've received Braves tickets, wine, golf items, money, etc.

Please keep it coming. If you have something in the works, just let us know that too.

Thanks. You are doing a great job and we greatly appreciate your willingness to donate something!!!

Fwd(4): Musical Mornings

Hi Anna, Thanks so much for helping us out. here is the email. Evia

We are well into our second year with program at the Lower School called Musical Mornings Concerts (“MMC”).   MMCs are informal musical performances in the cafeteria on Wednesday mornings before your child is dismissed to his/her classroom.  Our goals are many:

·         to expose the students to a variety of music,

·         to provide opportunities for (US and MS) students, faculty, staff, parents, and friends to perform for a live audience,

·         to teach the audience (our children) positive concert participation and behavior, and

·         to start each Wednesday with some music and a smile!

To help the program to succeed, we need your participation!

·         If you have any musical talent you’d be willing to share, please do!  Be a performer!  You don’t need to be extraordinarily talented…just willing and somewhat able (and awake).

·         Send your child to school by 7:35 on Wednesday mornings so he/she may catch the show.

·         Talk it up!  Tell your friends!  If you know someone who might be willing to perform early in the morning, send them my contact info!

Any questions or to volunteer your talents, please contact Stephanie Ross at stephanieross4@bellsouth.net

Urgent: 2nd grade auction basket-All about Men!

Hi Ginny –

2 things:

·         I ordered the cake for Ms Jackson and will pick it up Monday morning at 10.  Would you be able to bring plates & napkins?

·         Would you please re-send this basket email on Sunday night or Monday morning?  I don’t want to send it today as I think people will forget about it over the weekend.

Thanks!

Blair

If you would like to donate merchandise for the basket, please contact Blair Robbins at bcrobbins@mindspring.com or (404) 355-6901.

Yall: We can make this a really successful auction basket if you can do one of the following below. Ask you husbands for help.  Mike and I put our heads together and realized he had a client that might be able to help in the golfing arena.  Also, the contributions add up and we can purchase some fun items to fill in as well. Thanks!

Helen Jackson's Half Birthday

We hope everyone had a nice long weekend.

Mrs. Jackson's birthday is in July. Blair Robbins and I want to celebrate her half birthday this month since other classes are doing the same. (Ms. Mahaney's is later this spring)

Blair and I thought it would be nice if the children help celebrate her birthday
by making and bringing in a card next Monday morning, January 25th.

Please have your son or daughter write in the card one thing that they
think is special or appreciate about Mrs. Jackson. The children can
present these cards in the morning when they enter the classroom.

Around 11:30 (lunchtime) we will surprise Mrs. Jackson with a cake for  everyone in her class to enjoy.

Thank you for your help in making Mrs. Jackson feel special!  We will send out a reminder later this week, too.
Thank you,
Blair Robbins and
